This video showcases the olive harvest process in the Kurdistan Region, from harvesting and bagging to transport to the mill, followed by cold pressing to produce pure Kurdish olive oil, its bottling in specialized containers, and distribution to local markets.

The KORES Project aims to strengthen the olive oil value chain in the Kurdistan Region by improving farmers’ technical skills, supporting institutions, enhancing quality assurance systems, and promoting sustainable agricultural practices. Through capacity building, partnerships, and applied field activities, KORES works to ensure that local olive oil is produced, managed, and promoted according to recognized quality parameters that benefit both producers and consumers.
